Are morning people born or made? In my case ,they are certainly made. In my early 20s I didn’t usually go to bed early, and it was not the result of my job.
But soon enough I began to realize that there was a relationship (关系)between success and rising early. I found that when I got up early ,I did things better ,not just in the morning but all the day. That’s the reason why I decided to become an early riser then.. At the same time,I began to set my alarm clock for5:oo,but the next morning I got up just before noon.
I tried many more times ,but it didn’t work well. I thought I must have been born without the early-riser gene(基因).Whenever my alarm rang, my first thought was always to stop that noise and go back to sleep .It kept on this way for a number of years ,until I learned from some sleep research that I was dealing with the problem in the wrong way.
I was told that it’s hard to become an early riser if I carry it out in a wrong way. But if I develop it in a right way, it’s quite easy. So if you want to become an early riser you can try this :go to bed early and get up at the fixed time every morning. Once you get into the habit of doing this, the whole routine(常规程序)becomes easy.

The most important part of the Internet is its search function(功能).Today we can use search engines to get all the related information about a topic. There are cameras on almost every sidewalk of big cities, in the elevators(电梯)we ride, and even at many school entrances, However, is it really necessary to have cameras inside a school?
Some say yes and they believe having cameras in the school classrooms would not only let teachers know about the problems among students ,but also stop other bad habits in class, such as sleeping, talking and fighting .The also believe if there were cameras in school, the Columbine High School shooting in 1999 wouldn’t happen .However, others hold a different idea on it. They can’t help pointing their fingers at the media. They say there is too much news about school violence(暴力),but it really isn’t so serious. For example,in2009,US News??World Report reported that the death rate for school children was the lowest. The number of the children killed in school was less than one in two million. So they think keeping security cameras out of a school campus is best for the students and the teachers.
What do the teachers think of it? There are teachers who welcome having cameras in the school, while another group believes that keeping cameras out of schools is the best road to take.
Teachers who welcome cameras in the school believe it is good for the students’ behavior. The others think it will not only destroy the teacher-student relationship, but also damage the students’ rights. There is great care about the possible bad effects cameras have on the students. They are also afraid that the students might stand against teachers because of these cameras.

Researchers have discovered recently that babies respond (反应)to music and find music more pleasing than speech. The findings are based on a study of babies aged between five months and two years old. They suggest that babies may be born to move rhythmically(有节奏地)in response to music.
The research was done by Dr. Marcel Zentner, from the University of York’s Department of Psychology in the UK, and Dr.Tuomas Eerola, from the University of Jyvaskyla in Finland.
Dr. Zentner said, “our research about how babies respond to music suggests that it is the best rather than the melody(旋律),sound, or artistic quality, that produces the response in babies.
“we also found that the better the children were able to match their movements to the music ,the more they smiled and even laughed. It remains to be understood why humans have developed this particular ability .One possibility is that it was a target of natural selection for music or some other reasons concerned with music processing.
Babies in the research listened to a variety of audio stimuli(声音刺激)including classical music, rhythmic beats and speech.. Their natural movements were recorded by video and 3Dmotion-capture technology and then were compared by the different stimuli.
Professional ballet dances were also used to examine how much the babies matched their movements to the music.
The study has been published in the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences Online Early Edition(版本)
