Step 1: Waring up A) Sing a song( Are you sleeping ) together . B) Listen to the usic , learn to sing(Fruit song). I love apple , I love apple , I love apple , I love apple... The two songs have the sae tone. ost of the students can sing with the tone of Two Tigers. By this way students can contact with the neords with a direct interest. Try their best to sing ,and get the pronunciation and eaning of the neords by theselves. Step 2: Revision A) Freetalk with daily English. B) Bying freetalk , review the sentence : What's this / that ? It's a /an ... By the reviewing of the sentences , teaching the neords and preparing for the new sentences. Step 3: Presentation A) By waring up and dialogues, appears the neords of this class . In two ways, both on the blackboard and cards. 1) Let the students guess the pronunciation by theselves and read for us . 2)Teach the reading and do group reading . 3)Roleplay and strengthen the grasp of the words. Gae : Hot and Cold. Find the words that the teacher hid . According to the students' voice . If high you are near the word and low ,you are far fro it . 4)Group reading and show the plural for of the words . just add "s"to each of the . B) Sentences teaching . 1) Add the words into the sentence pattern What's this / that? It's an apple / orange (a pear/ waterelon) 2) Review the plural for and the nubers. 3) Apperance of the sentences : What are these /those ? They're ... By objects " What are they ?" Two groups of objects , here an there,both in single and plural. By copare , help the student understand the eaning and usage of the sentences: What are these / those? They're ... Step 4: Practice. A) Open the book to Page 33 . Do pair work of Part C. Use the words we have learned this class . Ask four groups of students aking dialogues for us .And the readafter the teacher of the sentences together。 B) Role play : Ask and answer with the sentences , use the objeects we often use . For exaple : rulers , tapes ,rubbers and so on. Students can played as a train. One ask ,one answer . Then the answered one can choose another to answer his question. Step 5: Cofiration A) Listenning Listen to the tape of the words and Part C B) Reading Read after the tape or the teacher one by one . C) Give the students tie to recite the words in class. Step 1: Freetalk and revision. A) Have an easy counication with the students B) Check the students grasp of the words learned last class . Both in spelling and writing . C) Add the words to the sentence pattern : What are these / those? They're ... Focus on the two words : these , those distinguish fro the words this/that and they. Step 2: Presentation A) After the revision , set up a background for the students to learn the new fruit. In an fruit shop, pictures of all the fruit we should learn. Pineapple first, pine - apple . According to the style of teacher's outh ,guess their pronunciation. The reading of the words are not easy for the students , read in different ways . Group reading , one by one or other ways. B) Roleplay Open the book to Page 33 , all the eight words should be used in the dialogues . Ask students to do pair work according to the pictures. C) Sing a song Use the neords we learned just now , in stead of the fruitin the song . I love bananas , I love bananas , I love bananas , I love bananas; I love peaches , I ... Singing , another way to attract the students' interest of learning. And open their outh to say English word which are not so funny. D) Part D Look and say. 1) We have learned the sentences : "I like ..." And "I'd like ..." Two or three kinds of fruit , let the student choose . Use " I like..." or " I'd like ..." 2) The teacher act as a shop assitant , the students coe and say what would they like , during the dialogue ,the teacher use "Howany ? One , two , or three?" Appears the sentence :"How any ?" the students can get the eaning easily. 3)Then use a balance to help teaching and the students understanding. How any kilos? (kilo = kg) ... kilos , please. Step 3 :Practise A) Students open their books to Page 34 . Practise by the four pictures in pairs , then do pair work for us. The nubers in each picture show the students how any kilos they would like. B) Perforance. Give the students prop they need ,and they pefor with the sentences we learned this two classes .Act as they are buying fruits in arkets. Step 4: Listening and reading . A) Read the words and sentences after the teacher together . During the reading ,spell the words and reeber the words in heart.
